Hambleton Hall in Rutland Water

Hambleton Hall in Rutland Water

Hambleton Hall is one of Britain’s finest country house hotels. The lakeside setting is spectacular and only some two and a half hours north of central London. The restaurant is a haven for gourmets and wine lovers and the rooms combine comfort and style.

Hambleton Hall is our launch site for Rutland Water. We fly from the lakeside at the bottom of the paddock below the Helipad. Once in the air we are surrounded by the majesty of the reservoir.

Rutland Water, in the county of Rutland, is the largest manmade lake in Western Europe, and is the site of a very successful Osprey breeding colony, and wild life sanctuary.

Rutland Water provides a good mix of sport, leisure and conservation.
